Infertility

Infertility is a complex medical condition characterized by the inability to conceive or carry a pregnancy to term after one year of regular, unprotected intercourse (or six months for women over the age of 35). It affects millions of couples worldwide and can be caused by a variety of factors affecting either one or both partners.

At our clinic, we understand the emotional and physical toll that infertility can take on individuals and couples. That’s why we offer specialized services to diagnose and address the underlying causes of infertility, with the goal of helping couples achieve their dream of parenthood.

Our approach to infertility care begins with a thorough evaluation of both partners’ medical history, reproductive health, and lifestyle factors. Diagnostic tests such as semen analysis, ovarian reserve testing, hormonal assessments, and imaging studies (e.g., ultrasound, hysterosalpingography) may be used to identify any potential barriers to conception.

Once the cause of infertility has been identified, our team works closely with each couple to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to their specific needs, goals, and preferences. Treatment options for infertility may include:

  1. Medications: Fertility medications such as clomiphene citrate, letrozole, or gonadotropins may be prescribed to stimulate ovulation in women or improve sperm production and quality in men.

  2. Assisted reproductive technologies (ART): Procedures such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), or intrauterine insemination (IUI) may be recommended to bypass or overcome certain fertility challenges and increase the likelihood of conception.

  3. Surgery: Surgical procedures such as laparoscopy or hysteroscopy may be performed to correct anatomical abnormalities, remove scar tissue, or address conditions such as endometriosis or uterine fibroids that may be contributing to infertility.

  4. Donor conception: In cases where conception is not possible using a couple’s own gametes, donor eggs, sperm, or embryos may be used to achieve pregnancy.

  5. Gestational surrogacy: For individuals or couples unable to carry a pregnancy themselves, gestational surrogacy may be an option, where a surrogate carries the pregnancy to term on their behalf.

In addition to medical treatments, we provide comprehensive support services to help individuals and couples cope with the emotional and psychological challenges of infertility. This may include counseling, support groups, stress management techniques, and access to resources and educational materials.

Our goal is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care for individuals and couples affected by infertility, helping them navigate their fertility journey with dignity, resilience, and hope. With our specialized services, patients can receive the support and treatment they need to overcome infertility and build their families.
